I had the opportunity to be a peer reviewer for Winona State University's Essays In Education (EIE). I reviewed an article for its strengths and weaknesses in content, conceptualization of topic, thoroughness, grammar, and clarity. By critiquing scholarly work, I was able to better understand what peer reviewers look for in high quality scholarly writing. This exercise helps me be a better scholarly writer.
