Pi Academy
Pi Academy was created to provide Personalize Instruction for intellectually gifted learners in grades 1-4. Two committees of administrators, teachers, school board members, and parents articulated the need for three tiers of services for gifted learners and created a proposal for full-time services for our intellectually gifted elementary students. After two academic years of research and implementation, Pi Academy was brought to district administration for final approval; with our continued partnership with the Hormel Foundation, remodeling was completed in the Fall of 2014.

Young Scholars
Young Scholars is a model used to provide equity in services for all learners. Young Scholars is a talent development approach that recognizes students who problem-solve in creative and analytical ways. Young Scholars develops creative and critical thinkers by providing hands-on experiences through literature, games, manipulatives, and authentic experiences. By providing the Young Scholars model, we have increased the number of English Language learners accessing advanced academics as well as culturally, linguistically, and economically diverse learners.
